Can you hook up an RV propane tank to a Weber Q 220 Grill
?
ANSWER: Greetings Paul thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.
Yes you can connect most any portable propane BBQ to your RV's main propane tank. In fact CAMCO Manufacturing makes a kit to do exactly what you want to do. It is the CAMCO MFG 57635 HOSE LP QUIK CONNECT W/VALVE KIT
.
Quite a few RVers have this setup on their RVs. This can be a do-it-yourself job as long as you are comfortable working with propane connections. If you have ever hooked up a Gas Dryer in your home, you should be able to make this modification easily on your own. If you are not comfortable doing this yourself, you may want to pay someone to do it for you.
Once you have this installed there are several other propane accessories that you can hook up to this connection to make your camping trip more enjoyable, such as Outdoor Propane Heaters
, Propane Fire Pits
and Propane Stoves
.
I hope that this information has been helpful to you.
