Special Note Of Interest on the NASCAR News Page: The picture in the upper left-hand corner of this page is yours truly (RVing Al). Yes I did get to drive around California Speedway in a NEXTEL Cup car. I did this through the Richard Petty Driving Experience.The average speed that I achieved was 170 mph for 8 laps. That was the first time and the last time that I have driven at that speed. I have tried several times to get our Motorhome to go that fast, but it just won't do it.
