A Special RVing Family Christmas Weekend

We found a beautiful place to create a holiday tradition for our entire family. We are from Louisiana, so we wanted a close destination to enjoy a special weekend with our family. The name of town is Newton, Texas and the name of the park is Whispering Creek Motel and RV Park.

We had some family with RV's and the others booked rooms in the nice motel. On Friday night we all gathered up with other people in the park and went downtown to the Annual Christmas Parade. Then we went to the Train Depot and rode on the Christmas Train that took us all through the city park and downtown Newton.

The lights were amazing. The whole community comes out to suppport this and everyone is so friendly. Our grandkids are already asking when it will be time to go and do it again.

We are planning to spend several weekends now at Whispering Creek as they are planning great family activities. We hope to see some of you there.
