Cable TV Connections Not Working In My RV

I just purchased a 2002 Montana, rear living room. Both TV's work on the antenna, but when I hook up for cable-nothing.

I ran a cable directly from the box at the site to the livingroom TV and it worked fine, so it must be a problem elsewhere. The cable is all in the underside and I cant see it. Plus, I have no wiring diagrams with the owners packet. I could use some help.

ANSWER: Hi Randy, since this 5th wheel trailer is new to you, the solution to your problem may be as simple as determining if your trailer is equipped with a Video Control Center/Video Switcher Box. A Video Control Center/Video Switcher Box is a box that has buttons or knobs on it and allows you to choose video sources for the TVs in your RV.

The location of these boxes vary by type and/or model of RV. They are usually located in a cabinet and are usually located in close proximity to the front TV. Once you locate the box you can again hook up the cable TV connection on the outside of your RV and switch the video source to "cable" for the TV you are watching.

If for some reason you cannot locate the Video Control Center/Video Switcher Box for your RV, you may want to reach out to the person or dealership you bought your RV from and have them help you out.
I hope that this has been helpful.

Happy RVing
