I can’t remember the way it goes?? I unhooked and charged the 2 batteries on my 24ft Aljo and forgot where the wires go?? I have a single loose white. a group of wires grey, red, blk and gry w/yellow then I have a yellow w/brown a black a green w/yellow and a white (kinda in a clump) what goes to negative and what to positive?

Help please,

Anna

ANSWER: Greetings Anna thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

This is one of those times that I am going to have to recommend that you get a Certified RV Technician to help you reconnect the wiring on your batteries. I could probably guess based on the wiring color-coding you have given me what goes where. But, I would be doing you a big disservice if I guessed wrong.

One wrong wire connection could cause damage to your trailers electrical system and I do not want to do that to you.

Once the batteries are reconnected, you should also have the charging system checked out and a load test done on the batteries to make sure that they are in good shape.

In the future if you want to charge your Travel Trailer's house batteries all you need to do is plug your Travel Trailer into shore power and the battery charger that is part of your Travel Trailer's Converter will charge them up for you and there is no need to remove the wiring to do that.

Sorry that I could not be of more help.
