Is it OK to Park My Roadtrek RV on an Unlevel Driveway?

by GRAMMYCOMPTON
(ITALY, TX)

Can a Roadtrek Adventurous be parked in our driveway on a daily basis? The driveway is not level, not extremely steep but certainly not level?

ANSWER: Greetings Grammycompton thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

I think I understand your question. Yes, it is perfectly fine to park your Roadtrek on an unlevel surface and it should cause no damage to your RV.

Depending on how unlevel your driveway actually is you may not want to operate your RV's refrigerator. It used to be that in order for an RV fridge to work properly the RV had to be almost perfectly level for the fridge to operate efficiently. The refrigerators installed on RVs today such as your Roadtrek are a lot more tolerant of operating properly on slightly unlevel surfaces.

If you are still uncomfortable about leaving your RV on an unlevel driveway you could always use some pieces of wood or Leveling Blocks/Ramps under the tires to make it more level.

I hope this helps.
