No Reception on New Digital TV in RV

by Troy
(Hamburg, Pa. USA)

I have 2001 Fleetwood Terry Travel Trailer that I recently put a digital ready TV set in, I get no channels at all, and I have a Winegard crank up ant. I programmed the TV for over air reception and also have set for scan channels, but get nothing at all. Any ideas?

ANSWER: Greetings Troy thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

I am assuming that you have double checked to make sure that you hooked up your New Digital TV correctly following the TV Manufacturers instructions. I am also going to assume that if your antenna has an amplifier that you have turned on the amplifier.

If you have done all of the above and still are not able to get acceptable reception of over the air digital TV signals you should read the answer I gave to How Can We Improve The Digital TV Reception In Our RV? for some suggestions on how to improve your TV's reception.

I hope this helps.
