Owner's Manual for a Nomad Travel Trailer

Just purchased a 2000 Nomad Travel Trailer 30', Model number 3060. Where can I obtain a manual about this camper? Also need to know if these campers are prone to water leaks throughout the camper?

Your Travel Trailer is manufactured by Skyline Corporation. You might want to visit the Skyline RV Owner's Manual Download Page and see if they have the manual you want.

If for some reason Skyline RV does not have the manual you need you should read the answer I gave to Where to Find an Owner's Manual For a 1974 Sun Lite Popup Camper? to learn about some other alternative places you can look for an owner's manual.

As far as your question about water leak problems with this model Travel Trailer; I am not aware of any out of the ordinary problems, but just because I am not aware of a problem does not mean that one does not exist. We love our 2000 Skyline. (It took me two and half years to find). We are the second owner of this beauty. We love the size this trailer provides for us/family expanding. Love love the triple slide and single slide (bedroom).
My question is an owners manuel is what I’m looking for...anyone able to help , suggest where to look?
We are currently ripping the carpet and linoleum out; the subfloor is in good shape, replacing with new wood flooring. We do not move our slides in and out since it’s stationary on our lot. Hope this isn’t a dumb question: do we need the metal plate that the triple slide would go over it? We think the new flooring won’t lay flat over that metal piece, it’s the whole length of slide 20’ not width? Any thoughts?

I've owned this trailer for18 yrs and only in 2017 the water heater rusted out then the fridge died! There is spot where it leaked at tongue in corner where appeared tiny corner part of roof edge was gone! Fixed it back in 2012 and this held til last year! Other than that leak all the rest of trailer is in great shape considering it's 20 yrs old! I would get the leak fixed but I would like a trailer with a slide!

Need help with my fuse box and battery. Fuse box is getting hot like it is having to work to hard. We live in it full time. We do not have the battery hooked up on it but we are connected to electric. What I need to know is do we need the battery to b hooked up while we are hooked up on electric to help out the fuse box. It is getting super hot.

how to find out how a watering system in a Skyline travel trailer 24 foot or as in done somebody took off and buy it with the tanks and everything in but I need to know how the wiring and hosting system hooked up to the trailer

star 		Leaking Trailer

This is the most poorly produced trailer out there. We purchased a Nomad in 2005 and not only did it leak...everything in it broke...the bed had no supports under it causing it to collapse the first time we used it. The kitchen table didn't have supports to hold up the table when turned into a bed thus causing it to also collapse the same evening as the main bed collapsing. The water pump went out within the first 4 months, the sink leaked, the refrigerator quit working, the furnace and air conditioning failed, the cabinets above the kitchen table split twice. The wall paper fell off the walls. The aluminum on the outside of the rig started corroding even though it was well cared for and waxed. The seals around the roof of the rig failed and the outside skin had to be removed and repaired. The battery terminals were apparently not the right type for this unit as they corroded and all we had were frayed wires hanging that had to be repaired. At one point, the factory had us bring it in so they could work on it also. So when we finally gave up on the rig and gave this lemon back, the area under the bed in the front of the rig was soaked with water....who knows where it came from. Everything was supposidly fixed.
Thank God its gone. I'll never buy another product from Skyline again.
