We purchased an RV Travel Trailer that had a short queen Mattress and we are fairly tall and tired of sleeping at an angle or with feet hanging off the end of the bed.

I slid the mattress about 8 inches from the "headboard" and filled the opening by stuffing two king sized pillows in the gap, Cover this with regular pillows and now you have longer bed, yes it droops a little but not bad.
