We Need A Maintenance Manual For Our Coachmen Motorhome

We recently purchased a 1988 Coachmen Classic Motorhome. It is 34 feet long and there were no maintenance guides included. (guess they got lost. Is there any way that we can download or buy a copy of the original materials? If have the serial number available if you need it. Thanks so much!

ANSWER: Greetings Rebecca thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

The first thing I would do is contact Coachmen Industries at (800) 453-6064 and see if they still have copies of those manuals. Do not be surprised if they no longer have those manuals.

Search For RV Owner's Manuals On eBay: Some RV owners have had good luck on finding RV Owner's Manuals here. Of course you are going to have to purchase the manual.

If you are unable to find an Owner's Manual at the above locations, there are books that you can buy that can take the place of the actual Owner's Manual. These books explain how to operate all of the common equipment found in an RV such as the propane system, plumbing, how to operate appliances, etc. Some of the Books I recommend are:
