What Does The Low Water Dash Light On Our 1998 Holiday Rambler Endeavor Motor Home Mean?

by Sandy
(Cedar City, Utah)

I own a 1998 class a diesel pusher Endeavor by Holiday Rambler. On the dash a low water light appears on the gauge whenever we are driving and lean slightly to the right or left. I cannot find what this gauge is referring to.

Can you help??

ANSWER: Greetings Sandy thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

You need to check the coolant level of your RV. There is a probe in your RV's coolant resevoir, when this probe is not covered with coolant it will trigger the Low Water Warning Light on your dash. Once you top off the coolant in the resevoir the light should go off.

I hope that this information has been helpful to you.

Low Water Light
by: Anonymous

I had a leaking heater core which caused the system to be low on coolant I would refill it and with in 100 miles the light comes on then a warning sound. No antifreeze smell, it leaked under pressure only. There is a valve handle on the top of the manifold under the bed, and another one under the engine accessed from under the coach. I replaced the core myself but had to get Freightliner to recharge the AC lines. Had to remove the passenger side headlight assembly. Got the core from Monaco in Coburg Oregon under $200 plus Freightliner cost another $150 or so. Could be a bad hose leaking also.
