Where Can I Get Tension Pole Shelving For My RV?

by Anonymous

I have a 10" gap between the microwave and cabinet. I'd like to put in some tension shelving in that space. Any ideas?

ANSWER: Thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

Let me start off by saying that you are the first RVer that has asked me a question about Interior Decor for an RV. I am by no stretch of anyone’s imagination a person to come to for interior design tips. Even Mrs. RVing Al will not ask for my opinion on any RV or Home Design changes that are being done by her.

That being said I believe the shelves that you are looking for are called Tension Pole Shelves (this is a link to the ones that are available through Amazon) which are usually used in a bathroom to hold Shampoo, etc.

The problem is that all of the ones that I have seen are too large to fit in the space that you are trying to fill. So I will open this question up to our visitors to see if any of them have some suggestions for you on how to fill that gap with shelves.

Do you have a suggestion for shelving to fill this RVers 10" gap between the Microwave and the cabinet? If so you can leave your suggestions by clicking on the "Click Here To Post Comments" link located near the bottom of this page.

Pole for storage
by: Anonymous

Hi,
I have seen a wire shelf that is made to fit between the washer & dryer. Not sure of the width, tho. It could probably be attached to a wall as well. We are living in our RV until retirement, so I go for any ideas for more storage.

Comment From RVing Al Thanks for your input That is a great idea. There is A Ton Of Wire Shelving Available. I never even thought about that. Now you see why Mrs. RVing Al does not ask for my help in these areas.
