Where is the ignition coil located on a 1989 Winnebago Superchief with a chevy 454 engine?

Where is the coil located on a 1989 Winnebago Superchief with a Chevy 454 engine? Is this engine fuel injected or carburator?
ANSWER Greetings Lisa thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.
This engine is a carburated engine. I do not know the exact location of the coil in your RV, but I can tell you an easy way to find it.
1. If you cannot locate the coil by looking through the front engine access hatch on the soutside of your RV, you are going to have to remove the engine cover on the inside of your motorhome. Usually these covers are held in place by several bolts that go into the floor of the RV.
2. Once the cover is off you should be able to look down at the engine and find the coil. If you still cannot find the coil; find one of the spark plug wires and trace it to the distributer and then follow the coil wire to the coil.
