Where Is The Radio Antenna Located On A 2008 Dutchman Denali RV?

by Mary Ann
(Charleston, sc)

Is there a radio antenna on a 2008 Dutchman Denali?

ANSWER: Greetings Mary Ann thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

If there is an External Radio Antenna on your trailer it would be located on the roof of your trailer or you could have what is known as a Hidden Powered Antenna somewhere in your trailer near where the radio is installed.

I do not know for sure if you have either one of these antennas. The best way to find out for sure is to contact Dutchmen Manufacturing Inc. They will be able to tell you for sure. Their contact information is listed below.

Corporate Office/Goshen In, Area Facilities
2164 Caragana Court
Goshen, IN 46526
Phone: 574-537-0600
Fax: 574-533-3807

I hope that this information has been helpful to you.

no am antenna on 2010 denali TT
by: Anonymous

When I tested the entertainment system on my 2010 Denali Travel Trailer 26 FT Super Lite everything worked nicely except for AM radio. There was absolutely no reception. I tested for reception with a small portable AM/FM radio inside the camper next to the entertainment system and got perfect reception. Next I removed the receiver from it's enclosure and found the AM radio antenna connection hanging there with nothing plugged into it. I searched everywhere for an antenna, found none. I purchased an auto antenna from an auto parts dealer with the same connector, took it home, plugged it in, "Voila"! perfect sound and reception. I then contacted Dutchmen about this and they agreed I had done the right thing because this trailer comes from the manufacturer without an AM radio antenna. There may be many other Denali RVs with the same condition, so I hope this comment can solve the problem as it did for me. Thank you
