The CD Player In The Concertone Entertainment System In Our RV Keeps Cutting Out?

We are having trouble with the Concertone entertainment system ZX300's CD player, it starts and plays 14 - 20 seconds and stops... has anyone had this problem? Or any suggestions on how to fix? Have tried cleaning and taken it out and put it back in. Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Based on your description it sounds like there is an internal problem in the CD unit itself. I do not believe that it is due to a dirty laser lens. I am assuming that all of the other audio sources in your entertainment system are functioning properly.

You have two choices here. The first one is to Contact Concertone and see if they have any suggestions for you. You also need to know that the ZX300 you have is no longer being made so I do not know how readily available replacement parts are for your model.

Leave your RV repair bills to us—Good Sam Extended Service Plan
The other option is to purchase a newer Concertone Multimedia System for your RV as the cost to repair your existing unit may be prohibitive depending on parts, labor, etc.
