How Do I Flush The Gray and Black Water Holding Tanks on a 2006 Keystone Hobbi?

by Anonymous

Just bought it and it did not have an owner's manual. Downloaded one off the web, but it doesn't tell me exactly how to flush the tanks. Please help.

ANSWER: Greetings thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

The reason that you may not have found information on flushing your tanks is that your trailer may not be equipped with a built-in holding tank flushing system. If it is equipped with one you would find a female garden hose connector near the holding tank dump valves in your trailer. You would connect your garden hose to this connection and use that to flush your holding tanks. Do not confuse this connection with the city water connection that is on your trailer.

If you do not have a built in holding tank flushing system you can buy an after-market flush kit. Depending on how your holding tank is configured one of these 3 products should work for you. The Camco RV Dual Flush Pro Holding Tank Rinser with Gate Valve, Camco RV Dual Flush RV Holding Tank Rinser or the Tornado Rotary Tank Rinser.

Hopefully the above information has been helpful to you.
