The Trailer Jack On My Travel Trailer Does Not Work

by Dave
(Texas)

My travel trailer jack will not go down once I jacked the trailer up. The jack clicks when I try to go higher and jams when I try to go lower. How do I fix this Jack? Do I need to purchase a new one? I bought the trailer used and it seemed to work when it was purchased.

Thanks.

Dave

ANSWER: Greetings Dave thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

I am afraid that I will need more information from you on what type of jack we are talking about here. Is it electric or manual? What have you done to try to fix it? Please leave a comment on this page with as much detail as you can provide so I can better help you.

Thanks
