City Water Fill Flange Check Valve

City Water Fill Flange Check Valve

I need help with the water fill line. After filling the tank water, a slight trickle is forced back out of the fill connection when the pump is on.

Do I have a bad check valve somewhere in the line, the pump itself or the two-way fill valve? Thanks in advance for your help.

ANSWER: Greetings Jesse thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

You have done a pretty good job of diagnosing the problem, it does sound like you have a bad City Water Fill Flange Check Valve.

These Flanges are fairly simple to replace and it should solve the problem you are having.
