What's The Maximum Mileage An RV Can Have To Qualify For An RV Extended Warranty?

by Hootman

The Good Sam Club places a maximum mileage of 80,000 on extended warranty. Are there any that offer this service at 133,000 miles?

ANSWER: Greetings Hootman thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

Depending on how old your RV is and the mileage you have on your RV the harder it becomes to find any Extended Warranty Plan. Most if not all RV Extended Warranty Companies have mileage and RV age restrictions on their policies.

The cost of these extended warranties also goes up depending on the age and the mileage of the RV. In fact some RV Extended Warranty Companies insist on performing an inspection on an older higher mileage RV prior to approving them for their warranties.

I cannot tell if there is an RV Extended Warranty Company out there that will issue a policy on an RV with 133,000 miles. If there is I am sure it would be a very costly policy.

I am going to open up this question to our visitors, in the hopes that someone out there can refer you to a company that can help you.
