Where can I find a wiring diagram for a 1989 Winnebago Superchief?

ANSWER: Greetings Ralph thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

The good news is that Winnebago Industries is very good about posting information on their website. In fact they have a page where you can Download Winnebago Wiring Diagrams for free in PDF format. The bad news is that they only provide diagrams going back to the 1990 model year.

In your case your best bet is to call Winnebago at 800-537-1885 or by filling out an Information Request Form which is located HERE.

If Winnebago does not have the wiring diagram you need then I really do not know where else you would be able to get it.

Regarding the suggestion that you can get information from Winnebago, I got a generic document recently after specifically asking for a vacuum schematic for my 1991 Winnebago chieftain. Several items on a drawing such as a binary pressure switch to protect the compressor if the condenser fan stops working are not on my Motorhome but should have been. When I asked Winnebago where I could buy a receiver dehydrator, I was told the Chevrolet dealer. They have not had this part for at least 20 years. I found a supplier in Texas for this item. So, don't rely on Winnebago to be helpful if you need assistance in repairing a motorhome that is out of warranty!
