Where is the fresh water holding tank drain on my RV?

I have a 2000 coachman Catalina 289 FK and I was wondering where the drain was for the freshwater tank?

ANSWER: I am afraid that I cannot tell you the exact location of the drain on your particular RV. In some RVs there is a valve in the water compartment that allows you to drain your freshwater tank.

On other RVs the drain plugs or valves are located on the low point of the Fresh Water Tank itself. If you find that you have a plug in your fresh water holding tank and you want to make it easier to drain in the future you may want to install a Fresh Water Tank Drain Valve in place of the plug.

I have a 1995 Europa. The two drain valves are under the bed [low point] However, I am unable to effectively drain the tank. Still haven't found the hot water heater valve(to drain that tank). The original manuals aren't much help.

Hello, I have a 2005 30’ terry Dakota. The freshwater drain is similar in type to the waste style drains except it faces down. Mine will not drain. It started too, I got about a half gallon to come out then nothing else. I have put a hose up through it into the tank and still nothing. And to add insult to injury it won’t pump out either. I have replaced the pump and can pump from the gallons of antifreeze but not from my pump... I’m stumped

We have 1999 Coachmen Catalina Sport, it took some searching before we found our freshwater holding tank drain under the main bed's mattress in the rear of the motorhome. Hope that helps!
