We just bought a 1986 Terravan but can't find the freshwater valve. we need to drain and clean. Does anyone know where it is located?

ANSWER: Greetings Bob thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.
I cannot tell you the exact location of the drain valve on the fresh water holding tank on your Terravan. I am afraid that you may have to go underneath the motorhome and look for the fresh water holding tank and see if it is equipped with a petcock to drain the tank.
The drain petcock (valve) should be located near the bottom of the fresh water tank. I will let you know that not all fresh water tanks have drain valves on them. The drain valve could also be located in the compartment where you hook up your city water. I will open up this question to our visitors in the hopes one of them know the exact location of the fresh water tank drain valve on your motorhome.
