Can you switch Out a Jackknife Sofa for Theater Recliners in an RV?

Our jackknife sofa on our Coachman 2009 Spirit of America (26 ft) is in the "baby slide" over the wheel well. Is it possible to "switch out" a jackknife sofa for theater seat type recliners? Where can I get information on changing out furniture in an RV?

ANSWER: Thanks for submitting your question on our Ask An RV Question Page.

Whether you can put Theater Recliners in your RV or not depends on the floor plan of your RV. In some cases the furniture in a slide out is an integral part of the slideout structure itself. There may also be items such as a holding tank etc. under the furniture itself.
