Plan and Prep Meals

Food is a vital part of your trip. If you plan to go out to eat for every meal, you'll find yourself spending a lot more money than you need to. You can save a lot of money by making and preparing your own meals. While you may not have access to a full kitchen, there are still several meals you can make in an RV. Save yourself some time by planning your meals and prepping food in advance. You could even make whole meals and freeze them so that all you need to do is thaw and reheat them on your trip.

Organize Before Leaving

Before you leave, take the time to go through and organize your RV. This will help you utilize every space you have, and you'll also be able to keep things clean and uncluttered as well. Once you've started traveling, you don't want to worry about what needs to go where. You'll have enough on your plate with everything else going on. You'll save yourself a lot of time and stress by getting things set up and labeled before you go.

Prepared For Emergencies

While no one wants anything bad to happen while they're away, you always need to be prepared. You never know what accident could happen. Keep your RV stocked with plenty of emergency items. A first aid kit is a must, but you should also include routine medicines in that kit as well. Pain relievers and allergy medicines could come in handy. A solar battery is wise to keep on hand, as you never know what could happen where you are. Various storm tools are good to keep on hand too.

Pack Clothes Methodically

Packing is often one of the most stressful parts of a trip. There's a lot of pressure to make sure you bring the right things, but not bring too many things. Don't rush your packing when you're going to be in an RV. Space is vital to remember, so you want to make sure you're not bringing too much. Find out what the weather will be for the time you'll be away, and base your packing off of it. Take advantage of the parks that have laundromats or rooms, as that means you won't need to pack as many clothes. Your shoes will be one of the most important things you pack, so make sure you are bringing the right ones.

Don't Forget Games

You may have some outings and activities already planned for the days you will be away, but don't forget to pack some games for the trip. There'll be plenty of downtime when you're hanging out around the campsite, and playing board games is a great way to make some family memories. Card games can give you a lot of fun without taking up a lot of packing space too. Without the space for everyone to scatter, RV trips make for great family game nights.

Bring Some Extras

always keep two in the camper. The same goes for things like water. If there's an emergency where you need to dry camp for some reason, you could be in deep trouble without enough water. So it won't hurt to make sure you have a few extra bottles packed.

Don't let the absence of everyday niceties keep you from going RVing. You can make it work no matter how long you'll be gone for.
